Our Team

Clark Krause joined the Boise Valley Economic Partnership (BVEP) as Executive Director in September 2010.  Since that time, Clark has been instrumental in restructuring the organization, and creating a new mission based on measurable and accountable actions and goals.  In 2011, Clark has been on several national sales missions promoting the Boise Valley to companies and consultants, rebuilding the marketing program & Public Relations outreach, coordinating a new effort to assist valley entrepreneurs, and advocating for local and statewide programs that will jumpstart economic-based job growth in our communities.

Clark came to BVEP with a strong history and experience in economic development, most recently as the former President and CEO of the New Mexico Partnership. During six and half years with the New Mexico Partnership, Clark and his team were tasked with out of state recruitment of economic-based jobs into New Mexico. Under his leadership, the Partnership attracted 45 companies and created over 14,000 jobs in the state. Prior to his time in New Mexico, Clark was the Director of Economic Development for Cedar City/Iron County, Utah, where he recruited nine companies, 1,150 jobs and $185 million worth of industrial development.  He also spent seven years as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Brian Head Ski Resort in southern Utah, and ten years in sales and marketing for American Honda Motor Corporation and Ford Motor Company.

Jana Jones has been with the Boise Valley Economic Partnership since 2006, and is currently the Director of Economic Development Services. During her tenure with BVEP, she has worked on a variety of business attraction projects, assisted with local business expansions and on advocacy issues.

Prior to joining BVEP, Jana worked in the economic development field at the State of Idaho, Department of Commerce as Marketing Manager for Economic Development Division. She has also spent time in the private sector, including 12 years as President and Owner of Silver Creek Inc., a regional distributor of fresh produce in Idaho and Utah.

Jana is also involved with a variety of organizations, including the Idaho Economic Development Association, where she is currently President, Co-Chair of the Education Committee, and has been a board member for the past five years. She is also on the Board of Directors of Capital Matrix, an Idaho 504 loan program, an alumnus of Leadership Idaho Agriculture, and regularly volunteers at charitable events such as the Idaho Special Olympics World Winter Games 2009 and March of Dimes.

An Idaho native, Jana is a graduate of the University of Idaho with a double major in Public Relations and Advertising.

Lisa Bloomquist joined the Boise Valley Economic Partnership team in April 2011 as Marketing Specialist. In this role, among her many responsibilities is to increase the resources and depth of information available to businesses, contacts and the community. In addition, she is also responsible for assisting in project management, stakeholder and community relations, as well as coordinating many of BVEP's events.

Lisa is a graduate of Northwest Nazarene University (NNU), with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in management. Not content to just study while in school, she also managed the Students in Free Enterprise student organization, and held a variety of internships including Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce and Albertsons/Supervalu.

Prior to joining the BVEP team, Lisa was a sales assistant with Delta Dental of Idaho.

Managing Partner, Thornton Oliver Keller Commercial Real Estate

Michael has 20 years of experience specializing in land acquisition and disposition and investment brokerage. Since 2005, Michael has completed transactions with an aggregate value in excess of $294 million and comprising over 31,000 acres of land throughout Southwest Idaho. Michael serves as the Managing Partner of Thornton Oliver Keller Commercial Real Estate. In this role, he collaborates with the company’s leadership team, offers insight and direction in business organization, planning, personnel management and corporate vision.

Trying to enhance investment within the state of Idaho, BVEP has contracted with Krissa Wrigley for assistance in coordinating sales missions and facilitating special events.  A valued member of our team, Krissa has spent the better part of 13 years in economic development in Idaho and Oregon from business start-up and entrepreneurship to business expansion and retention to business attraction.  Her education includes a PhD in Sociology and a Masters in Economics.  She serves on the Boards for Girls in Tech Boise, Go Lead Idaho and Sustainable Community Connections and is involved with TechBoise Open Coffee Club and Kickstand.
