Northwest Nazarene University

Northwest Nazarene University (NNU) truly has a best-of-all-worlds location. Situated just 20 minutes from the cultural resources and amenities of downtown Boise and within arm’s reach of Idaho’s outdoor pursuits, NNU’s location, educational offerings and incredible internship opportunities shape the student experience.

With more than 60 areas of study to choose from, students never have to settle for a major that’s anything less than their true passion. At NNU, students receive hands-on experience both in and out of the classroom. Whether working in the university’s state-of-the-art engineering labs, shooting on site with the Film School, or performing at local venues in a jazz ensemble, students leave prepared to embark on any career path or pursue advanced degrees at some of the top graduate schools in the country.

In addition to its traditional undergraduate programs, NNU also offers 18 master's degrees in seven different disciplines and two doctoral degrees, as well as degrees online and in cooperation with programs in 35 countries. Founded in 1913, the university now serves over 2,000 undergraduate and graduate students, more than 6,000 continuing education students and over 2,000 high school students through the concurrent credit program.
