Boise Valley Economic Partnership Partner ProService to Expand Workforce

MERIDIAN, Idaho – One year after ProService selected the Boise Valley for its new customer service facility, the company is expanding its workforce to keep up with demand.

The Boise Valley Economic Partnership (BVEP), the City of Meridian, the Idaho Department of Commerce, the Idaho Department of Labor, and Colliers International collaborated on bringing ProService to Meridian, Idaho last fall. After reviewing multiple site locations, the company decided to place its support center in Meridian because the region offers a highly qualified workforce, a low cost of doing business, and access to necessary support services.

ProService announced today they plan to hire 110 additional employees by this Thanksgiving. They currently have 70 people on staff. The majority of the positions are for seasonal employment with the potential to move into permanent status or transition into another seasonal position.

The customer service support center serves multiple clients including online retailer Balsam Brands, an Internet Retailer Top 500 company and the leading online retailer of high-end artificial Christmas trees and related home décor products.

To fill the 110 positions, ProService is hosting a series of job fairs from 9am-4pm on September 13, 14, 20 and 21 at their Meridian offices.  Interested applicants should contact Janalee Henderson at the Idaho Department of Labor at to set up a job fair appointment.
