Charity Nelson Joins Staff of the Boise Valley Economic Partnership
The Boise Valley Economic Partnership (BVEP) is excited to announce a new executive staff member. Charity Nelson joins BVEP as the first project & strategy manager to help design, build and launch a new talent attraction effort, as well as manage site location and expansion projects.
Nelson comes to BVEP with over 10 years of experience working for Micron Technology Inc. in recruiting and strategy roles. Most recently, Nelson served as Micron’s senior manager of talent acquisition where she created the company’s first global talent acquisition strategy, and worked as part of a small human resources team to create the initial framework for a focused diversity and inclusion program. Nelson has a Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology & Communication.
Nelson will be responsible for developing and implementing new talent attraction programs to support local companies in their growth, as well as enhance BVEP’s current efforts through www.GrowIdeasHere.com and other initiatives already underway. Nelson will also serve as an advocate for local businesses and work with the current team to continue enhancing BVEP’s mission to keep, grow and attract jobs and investment to the Boise Valley.
