Up to 100 New Jobs in Meridian,
New Customer Service Center Opening

Meridian, Idaho – The Boise Valley Economic Partnership (BVEP), the City of Meridian, the Idaho Department of Commerce, the Idaho Department of Labor, and Colliers International are proud to announce that ProService will be opening a customer service center in Meridian, ID.  After reviewing multiple site locations, the company decided to place its support center in Meridian because the region offers a highly qualified workforce, a low cost of doing business, and access to necessary support services. The company will bring up to 100 new jobs to the region in the next couple of years.

Mayor Tammy de Weerd from the City of Meridian says “We are excited to welcome to Meridian the newest member of our business community.  Through the process of comparing Meridian to other cities, ProService found what we already know – Meridian is a community that has been recognized for its business friendliness, economic potential, and quality of life.”

ProService is a customer service support center serving multiple clients including online retailer Balsam Brands, an Internet Retailer Top 500 company.  The company describes on their website that Balsam Brands "manages a portfolio of ecommerce brands and businesses that sell specialty products in various niche markets." The Meridian center will assist in customer support for their flagship Balsam Hill brand, the leading online retailer of high-end artificial Christmas trees and related home décor products.

Other community leaders were also instrumental in assisting the company with their site location. Karen Warner, of Boise's Colliers International, represented ProService in their lease transaction and she said, “ProService is a first-class company that will be a terrific asset to our valley and will quickly stand out as an employer of choice. BVEP’s assistance in differentiating Boise from other cities and attracting ProService to our area was invaluable.”

Gianna Driver, of ProService, was excited about choosing the region for their new facility.  She explains that the company chose the region over the other sites they were reviewing because of the "well-trained workforce, friendly business climate, and because Southern Idaho is a great place to live and work."

ProService is hiring for immediate positions and will hold a job fair on Wednesday, October 19th from 8am to 6pm at their office located at 651 S. Stratford Drive, Ste 100, Meridian, ID.  Applications can be submitted through the Idaho Department of Labor or contact with additional questions.   For additional information about the company, please visit
