Fiesta Bowl ChampionsThe Boise Valley and Boise State University are proud to be home to the 2007 and 2009 Fiesta Bowl Champions the Boise State Broncos! The Boise Valley proudly and enthusiastically supports the Bronco’s, selling out every home game at Bronco Stadium, a 30,000 seat football stadium known for its blue AstroPlay field. Also on campus at Boise State is Taco Bell Arena, a 12,000 seat basketball and entertainment venue, which opened in 1982 as the BSU Pavilion.

The uDrove® Humanitarian Bowl college football game is held in late December at Boise State each year, and pairs a team from the Western Athletic Conference with an Atlantic Coast Conference team.

Idaho Steelheads - Kelly Cup Champions Minor professional sports teams in Boise Valley include the Class A Boise Hawks, the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL and the Idaho Stampede of the NBA Development League.

Boise Valley, Bogus Basin, and Tamarack Resort hosted the Winter 2009 Special Olympics World Games. More than 3,000 athletes and coaches from over 85 countries participated.
