BOB Trailers Cuts Down on Costs, Doubles Business
Four years ago, Roger Malinowski, president of BOB Trailers, began thinking about relocating his business from San Luis Obispo, California, to someplace more affordable and with more employer-friendly workers’ compensation regulations. Boise, Idaho, proved to be the perfect fit.
Boise’s low, overall cost of doing business, tax credits, and financial incentives were the driving factors in influencing his decision. Malinowski relocated his business to Boise in 2006 and, since then, his business has doubled, and he has four times the amount to space to grow than he had in his California operation.
“In addition to the financial benefits,” says Malinoswki, “we enjoy the business climate in Boise and the friendly community. I have been impressed by the support of the community and our employees have been pleasantly surprised by the variety of recreational activities close to the city.”
BOB Trailers is the maker of the BOB Sport Utility Stroller and Bicycle Cargo Trailer.
