Qualified, Local workforce Allows Home Federal to Give Personal Touch
Founded in 1920 in Nampa, Idaho, Home Federal Bank opened its doors to help Idaho people save and grow their money, buy their homes, and accomplish their financial objectives.
Today, Home Federal Bank has 15 stores operating throughout the Boise Valley. Among Home Federal’s 233 employees, 33% have graduated from Idaho universities.
“The Valley’s trained and educated workforce is a benefit to us because we are a growing Idaho bank that wants to continue to employ a large percentage of locals,” said Dan Stevens, Home Federal Bank Chairman & CEO. “Hiring locals gives us an advantage in that it enables us to communicate with our customers on a more personal level and to give them the financial services they need and want.”
Stevens said Home Federal will continue to explore expansion of Home Federal Bank branch offices throughout the Boise Valley because of the strong community ties and energy within the area for innovation and entrepreneurship. “The Boise Valley area is an excellent area within which to conduct our banking operations, because it offers excellent opportunities for our customers to prosper.”
