The Health Science industry provides 30,000 good-paying jobs in the Boise Valley, and it’s growing constantly. As the largest metropolitan area between Salt Lake City and Seattle, the Boise Valley’s Health Sciences institutions serve a 350-mile region including northern Nevada and eastern Oregon. Anchored by two large regional hospitals, Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center and Saint Luke’s Regional Medical Center, the valley has many other smaller hospitals and specialized care centers such as St. Luke’s Mountain States Tumor Institute.
Idaho State University, the state’s premier educational institution for the Health Science field, excels in filling rapidly growing workforce and research needs. And Meridian’s new Health Sciences and Technology Corridor (THE CORE) responds to the rapid growth of Health Sciences, Biotech and High-Tech firms in the center of the Boise Valley with new business parks and tech centers.
This relocation has been the single largest project in our 60-year history, and we are excited to call Nampa our new home.
