Idaho Power obtains energy from a diverse set of generation resources, long-term power purchase agreements, and short-term market purchases. The estimated fuel mix for Idaho Power's resource portfolio (2014) is: 43% hydropower, 8% Natural Gas, 11% Wind, 35% Coal, & 3% Geothermal & Other.
