Boise Valley Economic Partnership (BVEP) is driven by a partnership of communities, institutions, chamber organizations and businesses in the area. BVEP offers free, customized, confidential services and site location assistance to businesses and entrepreneurs interested in relocating, starting up, or expanding in the Boise Valley. In the past nine plus years, our organization has welcomed more than 40 companies and over 10,000 jobs to the Boise Metro. We work to keep, grow and attract jobs for the region.

Executive Director

Clark Krause has been the Executive Director of the Boise Valley Economic Partnership (BVEP) since 2010. In that time, Clark has been instrumental in creating a new mission based on measurable and accountable actions and goals.

Clark has been on dozens of national sales missions promoting the Boise Valley to companies and site consultants, built a marketing program & Public Relations outreach and actively advocates for local and statewide programs that will jumpstart economic-based job growth in our communities. He was also instrumental in helping pass two new state incentives: the Idaho Opportunity Fund and the Tax Reimbursement Incentive. Clark's knowledge of state incentive programs has helped Idaho become a nationally competitive player in economic development. Clark’s Team has created “Grow. Ideas. Here.”, an initiative that launched in 2014 to assist local Boise Metro companies attract new workforce talent.

In 2017, Clark redesigned the organization, strategically adding two workforce talent experts to the team; BVEP is now uniquely positioned to help companies in the next decade grow workforce talent. An organization dedicated to helping the community grow, find and keep the talent needs of the future.

Clark came to BVEP with a strong history and experience in economic development, spending 7 years as President and CEO of the New Mexico Partnership. During his tenure at the New Mexico Partnership, Clark and his team were tasked with out of state recruitment of economic-based jobs into New Mexico. Under his leadership, the Partnership attracted 45 companies and created over 14,000 jobs in the state. Prior to his time in New Mexico, Clark was the Director of Economic Development for Cedar City/Iron County, Utah, where he recruited nine companies, 1,150 jobs and $185 million worth of industrial development. He also spent seven years as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Brian Head Ski Resort in southern Utah, and ten years in sales and marketing for American Honda Motor Corporation and Ford Motor Company.

Beth Ineck

Beth Ineck has been working in the Economic Development field since 2004. She attended the University of Tennessee-Knoxville where she received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics. Beth continued her education at the University of Idaho where she earned her Master of Science in Agricultural Economics and Rural Economic Development. She gained her Economic Development Institute Certificate from the University of Oklahoma in 2013. In 2015, Beth became one of three in Idaho to earn her certification as a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) from the International Economic Development Council.

Beth joined the BVEP team in July 2021. Just previous to BVEP, Beth worked as the Economic Development Director for the City of Nampa. In her tenure with the City of Nampa, Beth has overseen two major downtown redevelopment projects; secured millions in financing for Library Square and the Nampa Public Safety Building; has managed multiple divisions within the City including the Ford Idaho Center Contractor; Community Development, and Code Enforcement. She actively manages the business recruitment, retention and expansion efforts for the City. Since 2013 Beth has negotiated for new and existing businesses locating in Nampa that has resulted in over 5,000 new jobs and over $750 Million in new investment within the community. Her efforts have been recognized by Idaho Smart Growth, Compass Communities in Motion, Idaho State Historical Society, Idaho Business Review’s 50 Women of the Year Honorees in 2016 and most recently recognized by the Idaho Economic Development Association as the Economic Development Professional of the Year for 2020.

Beth serves on multiple board of directors within the community including: Idaho Economic Development Association, Capital Matrix, Saint Alphonsus Nampa Community Advisory Board and Nampa Boys and Girls Club.



Marketing & Events Manager


Sierra White

Sierra White joined the BVEP team in July of 2021, coming with both knowledge and passion for Event Management and Marketing. Sierra earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2018.

Shortly after graduation, Sierra moved to the Boise Metro as the Event Manager for the Ford Idaho Center. Prior to the Ford Idaho Center, Sierra worked for Reno’s National Championship Air Races (a week-long event that hosts up to 200,000 people annually). Sierra most recently joins us from a digital marketing agency specializing in franchise development and recruiting marketing efforts. Sierra’s experience led her to develop a strong skillset in promotional efforts, community outreach, relationship building, and planning and organizing events (large and small).

Sierra is dedicated and passionate about growing and actively participating in the Boise Community. She serves as the Boise Young Professionals 2021 Marketing and Communication Chair Elect, and will become the Chair in 2022. Sierra recently joined the Walk to End Alzheimer’s Volunteer Committee where she will help with fundraising and marketing efforts. She also actively volunteers with the Boise Farmers Market and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Ben Williams

Ben Williams joined BVEP in March of 2021 with a passion and energy for data analysis, demographic research, and project management. As a PMP certified MBA graduate from Boise State University, he is passionate about bringing business growth to his hometown.

Ben brings with him a diverse portfolio of project management and research including program implementation, scientific research, and database management. He currently participates on the board of directors for Project Management Institute – Western Idaho Chapter (PMI-WIC) as their volunteer coordinator.

In his off time, you will find Ben exploring all that Boise has to offer with his wife, son, and dog. From hiking and camping to running on the greenbelt, Ben values the amenities and activities offered by his home and is excited to show the objective data that confirms what he already knows, that Boise is the best place to live in the world!
